Occupy Brussels: A Day of International Solidarity

Since our last post quite a bit ago..much has gone on.  The last few days have been an adventurous blur of excitement, breaking way out of our comfort zone and life changing events.  The last few weeks have seen us in the planning and decision of where to take off to next on our adventure.

OccupyWallStreet and the resurgence of the movement here in Europe forced us to alter our tentatively laid out plans.  At first instant of news of the occupation I knew that it was going to be one of those moments where only in a lifetime do you get chance to take part in something that can shape the world you live in.  Since than Dayna and I spent our time laying out the best options to take part in this experience.

First we considered Paris, for as we all know the French are world renowned for their theatrical and massive demonstrations.  Than a little birdy told us of the Los Indignados and the protest in Brussels, capital of the EU.  Fortunate news, for the experiences we had will change the way we view the world in which we live.

I have seen with my own eyes that which I had been searching for years.  The amazing things happening in the world right now were the reason I set out.  They are now playing upon the stage we find ourselves in.

There are many possibilities for this world.  The shape it will take can be determined by us..if we are wise and compassionate.  It is late and we are exhausted.  The next few posts on our experiences will come out over the next few days.
